Frankfurt has a great public transport network

Local public transport in Frankfurt is operated by RMV. In a line network, you have the greatest possible mobility on buses and trams. The RMV is connected to the VBN-Land transport association and thus also offers the opportunity to reach the region and the surrounding area with a uniform tariff area. The Frankfurter Verkehrsbetriebe (RMV) provides public transport services throughout the city of Frankfurt. The public transportation RMV keeps the city running 365 days a year. The city has an extensive public transportation network consisting of bus services, trams that provide convenient access to the entire city and the surrounding region. Local public transport in Frankfurt
Frankfurt's local traffic is the city center network of rapid and regional trains. Several underground and S-Bahn lines as well as numerous bus and tram lines are available within the city of Frankfurt. There is also the Hessenticket, with which you can use local public transport throughout Hesse.

Inexpensive through Hessen
With the Hessenticket up to 5 people can travel all over Hesse. The ticket currently costs € 25.00. The Hessenticket was created by the Rhein-Main-Verkehrsbund (RMV) together with the Nordhessischer Verkehrsbund (NVV) and the Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Neckar (VRN).

The ticket is valid on all lines, trains, buses, trams and underground trains - of the three transport associations within the state of Hesse. From Monday to Friday you can drive it from 9 a.m., on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays in Hesse, all day. D-trains and ICs / ECs of Deutsche Bahn AG as well as call taxis within the VRN are excluded from the Hessenticket. And: The ticket is only valid in second class, there is no option to change to first class with a surcharge.

Tariffs, tickets & tickets information
The day pass is available for adults and children between the ages of 6 and 14 (inclusive). It is valid on a calendar day from the time stamp until the scheduled closing time or until the last route marked as a night line.

When using offers that are subject to a surcharge, one surcharge card must be purchased per trip. Day tickets of price level 3 valid in Frankfurt am Main (tariff area 50) do not entitle you to travel to Frankfurt Airport (tariff area 5090).
